French fine food supplier

A collective of nine artisan producers

Occitanie Gourmet is a GIE (groupement d’intérêt économique), a French economic interest group based in Montesquieu-Volvestre, in the Haute-Garonne. It brings together nine artisan food producers from Occitanie who share the same commitment to craftsmanship, quality, flavour and authenticity.

Our job is to make sourcing simple for importers, wholesalers, distributors, fine food retailers and food service professionals. Instead of dealing with nine separate suppliers, you get centralised access to more than 300 gourmet products, a single point of contact and harmonised commercial terms.

Six categories of French fine food

The catalogue covers sweet, savoury and drinks, pairing the classics of Occitan cuisine with organic, plant-based and innovative lines.

  • Cookies & chocolate: chocolate boxes and bars from Bello & Angeli, Malakoff bars, shortbread from Le Petit Zeste and organic biscuits from the Biscuiterie Artisanale de Sommières.
  • Beverages: pure and sparkling alcohol-free juices from Château du Clau, organic black garlic beer and infusions from L’Étuverie.
  • Ready meals: foie gras, ready meals, terrines and rillettes from Maison Patignac.
  • Jams & honeys: jams, marmalades and jellies cooked in copper cauldrons by La Cuillère Gourmande, and black garlic honey from L’Étuverie.
  • Canned fish: organic canned small trout from the Pyrenees, by La Truitelle.
  • Spreads & condiments: black garlic paste and hummus, chutneys and confits, and Maison Patignac spreads, including a meat-free range.

Why work with a single supplier?

For buyers abroad, sourcing artisan French products often means too many steps, too many suppliers and too little visibility. Our offer rests on four pillars:

  • One diversified catalogue: over 300 carefully selected products, sweet and savoury, drinks, organic, vegan and new lines.
  • Centralised ordering: one contact, one order form, one final invoice.
  • Optimised export logistics: consolidated shipments (groupage), customs and regulatory handling, international compliance.
  • Flexible, tailored offers: market-specific pricing, harmonised terms, bespoke solutions, product adaptation and marketing support.

The result: time saved, better cost control and more room for discovery. Read more about our solution.

Frequently asked questions

Who can buy from Occitanie Gourmet?

Our offer is designed for trade buyers: importers, wholesalers and distributors, fine food and organic retailers, hotels, restaurants and caterers, garden centres, online retailers and food processors.

Can I order from several producers at once?

Yes. That is the whole point of the collective: one contact, one order form and one final invoice, however many producers your selection includes.

What is the lead time?

For international sales, our terms set a normal lead time of 15 working days from receipt of the order, Ex-Works. This lead time is indicative.

What are the payment terms?

Payment is in euros by bank transfer. New business relationships and special production orders are paid 100% in advance, before the goods are made available. After that, 30-day terms from the invoice date may be considered, depending on your financial rating and our commercial discussions.

Is there a minimum order?

Please ask our export manager about order quantities for your market and your first order. Note that, under our export terms, ordered quantities are rounded to the nearest packaging unit.

Do you offer private label or customised products?

Our offer includes bespoke solutions, product adaptation and marketing support. The Biscuiterie Artisanale de Sommières, for example, offers customised labelling, including private label. Tell our export manager about your project.

Do you have organic products?

Yes. L’Étuverie’s entire black garlic range is organic, as are La Truitelle’s canned trout and the biscuits from the Biscuiterie Artisanale de Sommières. Château du Clau offers organic pure and sparkling apple juice, and Maison Patignac an organic range.
